At 7:43 on June 3rd I arrived at my observation point only to find limited fauna underneath chilly, overcast skies. The temperature was 50 degrees and there was a strong breeze that blew across the water making small waves. I saw only one swan hiding behind a tree shelter and concluded that the rest of the population was either behind the very same tree stronghold, or migrated from the direct area. Im guessing that because the weather has been so cold lately, the populations that normally structure the community and make it bloom, instead have reduced this to a barren lonely community.
